Compact plant for terraces, laneways, and driveways that will not take a bigger machine
1.7 tonne excavator hire in Sydney is the tight-access machine. Over a metre of width is still a squeeze on a lot of terraces. We look at the gate and the street before we quote the hire.
This is the machine we take onto inner-city knock-downs and strip-outs when a 5.5 tonne will not fit. Rear additions, side paths, and laneway work. Hire without an operator only makes sense if you already know the machine and the site. Most of our bookings are wet hire on a job we have already looked at.
The truck that delivers it still has to sit on the street. A 1.7 tonne machine does not remove that problem. Photos of the gate and the parking tell us if the hire is even possible.
