House demolition Sydney work is most of our week. Full knock-downs for rebuilds, and partial takes where a rear addition or a wing comes off and the rest of the dwelling stays. The yard is in Daceyville. We hold NSW demolition licence AD214505.
A full house knock-down is a sequence. Photos and access first, approvals and services next, then the machine, then the trucks. Most house demolitions in NSW need council approval or a CDC before anyone puts a machine on the building. We do not issue those. We will tell you what has to be in place. If the building is likely to have asbestos, that has to be handled before we start.
Partial demolition is a different job. You keep the front, or the upstairs, or the neighbour's party wall, and we take out what the brief says. That needs more hand work and a smaller machine. Terraces and tight Eastern Suburbs blocks are often this kind of take. The street still has to take the trucks. The bit that stays has to be left so the builder can work off it.
