Detailed work is slower on purpose. You might be keeping a facade, a party wall, or a floor that the next fit-out needs. The machine still comes, but a lot of the take is hand work: services, linings, a stair, a rear room that has to come off clean. The waste still has to leave the street without blocking it all day.
This sits next to a strip-out, and on some sites it is both. The difference is usually how much structure comes with it. A strip-out can be linings and a kitchen. Detailed demolition can be a slab edge, a brick wing, or a first-floor addition while the ground floor stays live. We look at that on site, not from a floor plan alone.
If the whole interior is coming out and the shell stays, that is closer to strip-out and defit. If the whole house is coming down, that is a full demolition. We will tell you which page matches the job.
We inspect, then we quote. Photos of the rooms, the street, and what has to stay are more useful than a long written brief. Call 0487 549 909 or send the suburb and a couple of photos.
